Current Leadership Role

In my current leadership role, I have to take responsibility for what I’m asked to do, make sure that others in my tasks are doing their tasks and responsibilities well, and that all the activities that I’m doing throughout the day are being done well. There are multiple opportunities for me to lead in the organization as I have to organize group tasks and tasks, and by setting a good example in how I take care of my colleagues and tasks. According to Xue et al. (2025), leadership is intrinsically related to the ability of the individual to have a positive impact on others and to provide quality patient care.

Leadership Interactions

I communicate with others with respect, cooperate with them and have a solution attitude to solve any issues that may arise in my team. I encourage my staff to work together and problem-solve or work on a task. Additionally, as new information or issues come up, I inform all of my team members and colleagues of these and strive to make interactions with others within the organization positive and conducive to team member relationships and trust.

Areas for Growth

I possess the leadership traits necessary to make a success of this job and have objectives that will help develop my desired leadership skills. I want to work on one of my strengths to build my confidence to make decisions when facing challenging or stressful situations. When it comes to making a decision, I’m not in such a rush to make it, I just want to be sure it’s the right one for me and for all in a particular situation. I want to enhance my conflict resolution skills to help bring all team members together harmoniously. You would like to manage time and delegations more efficiently, balance your responsibilities and be part of the organization as a whole.

Development Goals

The development goals that will be highlighted are Communication, Decision making in a leadership position, and Critical thinking. There are many ways that each of the following goals can be accomplished in my program and my career (Bornman & Louw, 2023). I will be able to use all these aims in my current work. Since my greater involvement in discussion and activity with my programs I have seen an increase in my confidence. These are the key skills which will help me to successfully contribute to the organization and help it achieve its objectives.

Personal Leadership Focus

Ongoing, I am setting an example by taking responsibility, being cooperative and helpful towards individuals in my workplace/learning setting. Values I have are professionalism, the ability to work as a team and get things done. In Team situations I am able to work well as a team member and ensure other team members are progressing towards the team’s goals. I want to make everyone feel confident, make me more adaptable, and more focused on leadership during rough times. These will be worked on to be a better, transformational leader.

Organizational Expectations

Leaders should have all the qualities of a good profession – professionalism, accountability, teamworking, ethics and good communication skills. Leaders are expected to organize the agenda and contribute to the mission and vision of the organization and to be a positive and productive environment for work. Organization leaders should also discuss patient-centered care, quality and safety promotion with each other. For instance, healthcare providers are urged to work together and engage in clear communication to enhance patient care and minimize healthcare mistakes (Fukami, 2025). This attitude will enable the employees to collaborate with each other to make the organization successful and growing.

The effectiveness of leadership and how it affects pupils’ learning

I have a positive attitude towards team members and issues. The environment can be influenced by organizational objectives, behaviors and culture, supporting and reinforcing employee relationships and team working. They motivate, enrich and encourage values in others. I collaborate well in a group, am professional and support other professionals in their work and clinical practice similarly to these leaders. I need to gain confidence and decision-making ability to make a more significant impact within the organization.
