Reflexive Discussion relating to my RN-BSN Learning Process.

Reflexive Discussion about my RN-BSN Learning Process.

RN-BSN Program and its Role in My New Values in terms of my Skills and Knowledge.

The RN-BSN program also made me more aware of the professional nursing practice and made me feel more confident about my abilities and knowledge. My predominant work activity before enrolling in the program was to accomplish things and follow instructions during the process of attending to the patients. However, the RN-BSN program helped me to understand that critical thinking, becoming a leader, and being an evidence-based practitioner are critical in nursing. I also learned that nursing does not only rely on clinical skills but also on improving quality, patient outcomes, and communications. This experience has taught me to value my profession as a nurse and to try to learn as much as I can.

Significant RN-BSN Program and Course Lessons.

One of the most important things that I have learned as a part of this course is the problem of applying research and evidence in the choice of clinical decisions. Evidence-based practices help nurses incorporate research, clinical experience, and consumer requirements in providing the best care. According to Delta et al. (2023), evidence-based practice improves patient outcomes and contributes to making better healthcare decisions. I also learned how technology and health informatics may improve the exchange and interconnection of professionals within a healthcare environment.

Some work examples of how my personal and career objectives were affected.

My personal and professional objectives have also been affected by the RN-BSN program. First, it has encouraged me to keep on furthering my education, and this time, I may take up leadership or advanced practice in nursing. Second, the program reinforced my patient safety and quality care commitment. My current goal is to use effective communication and evidence-based practice in the workplace and thus improve patient outcomes and assist in teamwork within healthcare institutions. On the whole, due to the RN-BSN program, I have managed to develop both on a professional level and personally, and become an improved nurse (Juanamasta et al., 2023).
